Drifting at Nikko Circuit - Japan Photo Archives

There's only one thing more beautiful than an Autumn day in the Japanese countryside, and it's drifting in the middle of that. Nikko Circuit is about two hours out of Tokyo and roughly five hours from Osaka, which was where I was staying. I was invited to come and watch the Sexy Knights drift on October 16th. After my flight to Tokyo was cancelled the week prior and I couldn't go to Final Bout: Special Stage Japan, I wasn't about to miss another drift event.

I took two trips to Nikko Circuit during the month that I spent travelling in Japan last month; it has become one of my favourite tracks to visit. Nikko hosts plenty of events throughout the year and is one of the most popular circuits in the country. Nikko looks like a forgiving circuit that's great for beginners but has a lot of features to keep more advanced drivers interested. This time I was only spectating, but I really look forward to being able to test out the track someday!

I've compiled a few pictures that I took on my point-and-shoot Samsung film camera. I have tons of photos left to scan from my trip, I'll keep updating as I have time. Please enjoy these pictures for now!
